a while ago i asked for info on suppliers of the diff mountings cos my bus had a knocking at the rear when changing gear etc, when i had the motor on axle stands there was a lot of lift in the front of the three mountings, i was advised to contact ISLAND 4X4 website, did so and got all 3 mountings for under £50, fitted them this weekend in under 2 hours, drives like a gud en now, what a different feel to the motor its well worth doing, but its a must to change all 3 as without unbolting each mounting the front one which is the one to collapse is an awkward sod to remove. as i said do all 3, saves time and a struggle in the long run, ps do remember to put axle stands under the box sections & have the jack under the diff unit to give support whilst all the bolts are removed you can then wriggle the diff around a bit to enable refitting. mine is a '99 with 82k on the clock so they should be ok for years to come. go on do em, you know they need it!!

As long as you're okay with those little metal puzzles you get in crackers then the front mounting is not a problem on it's own.
Changed mine at 90k (ish) so should be due for renewal again sometime soon.....;)
