Silly question time guys

Should I be able to blow through the rear diff banjo bolt?

Pipe attached is clear, but can't blow through it.

Tried soaking in penetrating oil and scratching around inside with a paper clip.

Would running a small (1mm?) drill through the pipe end cause any damage/issues?

Accept 'buy a new one' is the best answer - just can't get befre next weekend so looking to 'make do'

Thanks in advance

I think you should be able to blow through it, I need to check mine but I'm having trouble getting it off, the banjo is loose, but when I turn it, the part with the pipe coming out turns wit it, trying to rip the rubber pipe. How did you get it off?

Mine was one piece, so had to remove the pipe before unscrewing with a 14mm spanner.

Tried pulling off the pipe with pliers - wasn't having it - so cut through close to the Banjo with wire cutters, then removed the remaining piece of tube with a stanley knife once off!

OK

Being pretty daft, I hadn't realised the Banjo Bolt was two pieces!

Taking the front axle one off to check I found it was!!!

Answer to the rear after soaking in penetrating fluid - crack apart using a pipe wrench and 14 mm spanner

Clear the holes with a paperclip.

Spray with penetrating fluid and wipe down with a rag.

I'm now going to let it soak in penetrating fluid overnight, clean up the faces and reassemble in the morning.

Thanks all
