Hi guys. I'm new to posting here but have found your postings very useful from time to time.

I have a rear window that works but needs freeing up from time to time. It seems that it needs lubricating but I'm a little scared of stripping it down in case I bugger it up. It does work if I take the glass out, remove the motor's coil cover (the bit with the magnets in it) and manually push the window grippy things (sorry for the non-technical jargon) up and down a bit. But then after it's been left for a week (went on holiday) it just sticks again.

I wondered if it's the motor's brushes worn or it just needs a lube. Tried resetting and calibrating it but that just allows me to unlock the door again. The window doesn't drop. And I get the multiple beeps when the window button is pressed downward.

I'm in Notts if anyone fancies helping solve this with me :)

Any suggestions please :)

Er... WELCOME! seeing as this is your first post.

Head on over to the freelander section and post your question/request in there. LZ International Rescue is used for urgent breakdown help - vehicle stuck in a ditch, etc.
