had the dreaded call from the wife yesterday.... Bl--dy landrovers broke down ,won't go what am i going to do now..? as if i knew i was 150 miles away in my truck..Ah ha.. call the AA, an hour later man arrives spends hour and a half no joy, said fuel pump was knackered?? recovery to home, one unhappy wife.
spent 2 hours this morning in the freezing cold got it running but no power. filter kept emptying then filling with air ?? pin hole in pipe somewhere? no, eventually removed sender unit/pick up pipe from tank, guess what?? a bl--dy worm in the pick up pipe !! where the hell did that come from ?? cleaned tank no more rubbish in there put it all back together and bingo good as new, wife still not happy though as she had to go into town on her moped, oh well i got to play in the snow up the hill . Happy christmas to you all .
