Re programming key

Looking for any one in west lothian area who can re program my key any ideas or know some one, the other problem is the barrel is seized and won't turn with the key.

take the lock out and clean, fix it tis the only way, you know its just going to kick your arse if you dont, fix it..

Be careful ! New keys are expensive. And don`t be tempted with "bargains". Only the genuine article will work. I think, no, I`m SURE, Irish Rover knows lots about this. I seem to remember there`s been a problem with the factory and don`t know if or not it`s been resolved? Long delay between ordering/receiving keys.

Ive got a old keyfob that dont opperate anymore, how do you get inside um? must be pressed by machine

It is not a new key its the original key just needs re programmed can you do this with just the key?

Have the inner door skin off but cant see how to remove the barrel?

it has a clip on the back of it, untill you get your lock working, you will not be able to resync your key..

Despite what has been written, NOBODY is able to reprogramme a P38 keyfob...the data is burnt into the keyfob by Huf (Manufacturers)
Re-synchronise an original keyfob..Yes. Repair an original fob...Yes (Possibly).
Reprogramme another fob from another car to your own...NO unless someone proves me wrong !!!
Again.....Buy a fob from Ebay etc. at you own risk and be 99.99% prepared to see your money disappear down the pan...especially if you are talking of the P38.
I have posted many replies on the subject, yet still many are lured into the trp of throwing their money away.
Autologic, Faultmate, Test Book......NONE of them have the capability of re programming keyfobs...100% guaranteed....FULL STOP.

what year is your car, is it petrol or doosel, you need to take door card off and look at mec, the bar thats comes off the barrel could be snaged. have you put any oil in it...

its a 99 diesel can get my hand to the back of the lock but can't see any clip?
