Range Rover Vogue

Evening all I have a vogue 3.0 just replaced the fuel pump, which keeps stopping until you give it a couple of taps on the top of the tank. it comes with a feeder pipe. Just wanting to know if this floats in the other side of the tank or is fixed some where? Hope someone can tell me am pulling my hair out.

If you have to tap it to keep it going sounds like its faulty, dont know about the pipe even though got a diesel l322 myself.

what bus??
It wasn't a britpart pump was it?
I would check the plug is fitted tightly onto the pump unit
