come on 4x4xfar let's see em then...

in terms of beating away from lights etc.. I beat nearly everythign away from the lights and I'm on insa turbo sahara's.. mainly cos they aint expecting me to try..

In terms of stopping one I have always been aware of the size etc but the other day was driving into bradford on avon in the wet when the plonker in front of me stopped dead.. braked harder than I ever have before.. abs going mental.. car stopped from over 30mph in what felt like under 5 metres..

sort of.. I came round a bend just before it drops from 40 to 30 (so was already off the throttle) and then about 200 yards down the hill there is a mini roundabout.. the q for the roundabout was a car length from the bend and the guy in front of me saw it before I did so when his brake lights came on I thought he was just being a pillock and didn't brake hard enough.. then he kept braking by which time the gap was a little close.. fair got me heart racing.. and every day I've been round that bend since I've done it at 10mph and there hasn't been a q for the flipping r'about lol

i've got wrangler HP road tyres on the disco at the moment, they fecking stop yer. nearly knocked myself out with a camping stove the other week, slammed the anchors on and everything in the back went slamming into the back of me seat :D

Where are these pictures? I want a laugh.

In terms of racing away from the lights, how about our car: Ex-police unmarked armed response vehicle - Omega MV6 Estate - 260bhp - sub 6 seconds to 60 - de-restricted (173mph) - still looks like a cop car so people don't tend to get in the way of it.

If you have ever seen Road Wars on Sky 1 or 3 its the same type of car that they use apart from this one is an estate and was fitted with gun racks in the back and chipped from 220bhp to 260bhp - gun racks removed but its still chipped!

The Disco wouldn't stand a chance away from the lights, its rather lazy being only about 130 bhp or whatever the 3.9l Rover V8 is.
