Range Rover L322 Alarm and key fob

Got a 2003 TD6 range rover acting up

the alarm will go off at random times and the keyfob has stopped working but the button to open the boot still works.

any common problems that i can look into to try get this fixed?

Check bonnet switch....common for random alarm issues.

thanks for the reply.

where is the switch located, i removed the grill as someone told me it was behind it, but i cant find it.

On the bulkhead/firewall lefthand side as looking at the engine from memory.
