Range Rove Classic fuel filler flap wont open

I recently had some welding work down round wheel arches and now Ive just noticed the filler flap wont open.

Ive opened the access cover and everything seems normal

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Sound like wire to flap or the actuator itself got fried. Would try to test actuator with current applied direct to see which one.
or look around wheel arch area for a melted looking wire. ;-)

are you trying to do it with the ignition on?
needs the ignition off
