Hi all.

Had to cut the bolts from my old arms front and rear as they were siezed solid (fitting new QT arms... ) so need new bolts.

Are these specific tensile or will local hardware store type bolts be ok ? ( so long as they're correct fit in the bushes, no slop etc)

Also, on the chassis end, where can I get the big 2 inch washers that goes on the raduis arm (chassis end) first ? On my old arms these were integeral......

Thanks.

FFS man what are you doing working on safety critical components when you clearly havn't got a clue?? High tensile at least 8.8 but prefferably 10.0 bolts washers from a landy dealer or paddocks.

always use new bolts and 30 mm nuts when replaceing bushes.if you got new chassis bushes then all washers are normally supplied, like redhand says if your not sure dont do it

You can get 4mm thick 50mm dia galvanised washers from your local builders merchants. I'm surprised your new arms did not come supplied with them and the nuts to fit.

As already said use high tensile bolts. You do not want one of the radius or trailing arms letting go while you are moving. The stresses on them are enormous under acceleration or braking.
