Hello, my first post!
Like any thing on a defender when one thing gets fixed two break…
After a trip to the garage my 1994 defender 300tdi returned with the right side lights faulty and the speakers no longer playing sound.

the side lights were an easy fix, swapped out a fuse good to go.

the speakers are causing a challenge…

the radio head (Pioneer sph da120) has power but after about 30 seconds comes up with AMP error.

i’ve taken off all the speakers (which previously worked fine) and disconnect them.

I replaced Fuse 7 which has blown but after replacing it still nothing.

some forums have suggested there is a purple/yellow cable that connects to the amp via the remote operation cable - I don’t seem to have anything in the landy this connects to?

Really clutching at straws as what to do next. Don’t want to order a new head unit incase it’s something else.

I’d upload some pictures here but not sure how. [/GALLERY]

l bet the garage used a boost starter and wrecked the stereo. You can buy another stereo for next to nothing, l've got an Alpine unit that you can have for £50 or there's plenty on Ebay
