Radiator Muff ?

Hi, has anyone seen, made or used a radiator muff on their Freelander ? I have always blanked off the radiators on my Landys over winter which has made quite a difference to the rate the heater warmed up and was thinking of doing the same to my 2004 td4 so as not to be burning so much diesel on the pre-heater.
