Hey, is it possible to get a rad for my disco that has larger holes so they dont get so clogged up?

do you mean clogged with mud or...?

well iv never seen a larger spaced rad tbh could you not use a wade blanket or something like that

yea, its just effort gettin out every time u go in water :/ lol!

Chap I know was gonna fit up n extra window washer tank/pump and jets to the back of his rad, dunno if he's done it yet or how well it would work tho

I used a rad cover last time we were doing Strata Florida in feb, to be honest it wasn't much good for the water but when it's muddy water at Pay 'n Play quarries etc then it works really well .. keeps the rad from getting stupidly clogged.

and its not much of an effort cleaning all the mud out of the rad?

problem is it damages the rad when u clean it

Er thought that depended on the angle and pressure of the water jet

Yes you can get one but it would need to be made as a one off.I think the disco core has something like 14 fpi [fins per inch] . If you went to say 7 fpi you would have bigger gaps. But it would reduce the cooling as the more copper on the tubes the better the cooling .

The best way to clean a core out is to push the crap back out the way it got in. But thats not possible when it fixed to your motor.

i was thinking bout puttin a better grill on at the front so less crap goes into the rad.. kinda like a filter

wouldnt the fold down wading blanket do just as gud,they look ok from what ive seen,but am just a novice
