Rad fan wiring in

Probably covered but can't see anything.

When we fitted the new 200tdi engine, we removed the fan as the coving wouldnt fit. I now have.a thermostatic fan to fit.

Query is it says to fit a live from relay to a live that comes on only with ignition. Obviously the prefered place would be in the fuse box. Any suggestions?

As i operate on my phone 90% of time can't use rave etc right now.

live for relay could come from anywhere battery ,fuse box etc it doesnt matter ,its trigger wire that will decide when fan comes on

Theres one from battery to relay. One from ignition as relay off when ignition off.

so your wiring up trigger wire so that it comes on only when ignition switched on presumably earthed throogh thermostatic switch ,still wouldnt matter were you took it from battery fuse box etc it just means if very hot fan would stay on with ignition off rather than going off with ignition

So it would run til everything cooled. Possibly better then?

yes you have wire from battery to relay to fan ,trigger from battery to relay to thermostatic switch to earth once cold switch would shut relay and fan
