Question about the prices of defenders

Just my take on it. Being an old fashioned type, I like face to face, rather than endless messaging and questions.

Face to face also protects the buyer. If the seller, or the vehicle, are well dodgy, the seller is unlikely to invite you to their house.

Apparently this is the favourite first line of our european cousins, normally put across as best price, not what is yout best price? or are you open to offers,? just best price!

People are to price obsessed these days, cheap cheap and more blody cheap, even the tv adverts are geared this way trying to make out you are a fool for not getting best price all the time.
I kind of think if you are happy with the item and what you paid for it happy days.

I have a friend who always haggles and "gets the best price". Most times he gets ripped off because he's obsessed with deals. He screws tradesmen and suppliers down then wonders why they hang him out to dry when there's a problem. I had a house for sale at a fair price, every time someone would come to view and then make a stupid low offer, my reply was always "come back when you can afford it",

This might sound daft but have you driven one?
I would also have a drive of a 300TDI Disco as they are much better value, but It depends on what you want.
As most people have said you really need to do your homework as so many sheds about.
I also agree on price some people just aren't bothered about the item they just want to knock you down and no matter what wont buy unless they get a discount even of it was the last one in the world, no discount no deal
