I am about going to TRY and put a 300TDI into my series 2a, this will be its 3rd engine, however I know that this will be a very big project because I want to use the 5 speed box as well.
So here is where I need some tips or some good advice, would I need to change the diff on my series, how will I best fit coil overs in the front, should I put an extra cross member to support gear box, has anyone used the steering box out of a disco1 on there series, can I use the diffs from a disco1 (yes the doner is a 1998 disco), will I have to fit the ecu, I don't want to change the external looks on my Series, but I do want to give her a bit more power,
I hope that someone will give me some tips, and maybe you might think that I am a bit mad but I love a good challenge and more important I want to give my Series a new leas of life.
