purist

hello one and all im new on here so thought i would check one or two things before i start asking questions .
is this a purist landrover site or are altered ones welcome ?
just that i dont want to upset anyone what with my 2a having a ford engine and coil springing .
some people elsewhere where disgusted at these mods .
well will look forward to replys now .

thats good then ..
well its a 1966 series 2a with an arrow services coil sprung chassis and a ford 3ltr essex in it .
im doing well ive only been building it for 15 years .
i keep changing my mind over what bits to use .
now ive decided to change the series gearbox and put in a lt77 defender box .
is this a good idea or not ?
also was thinking about using the transfer box from a disco would this change the gearing ?
well im sure someone will let me know .
as for pics i will try find some ....

use a 4spd lt85 longstick range rover box.fit a monster V8 on it and do 100mph easy.....
