why do you have to fight with the steering when going down country roads in my wifes disco s2 when my defender is fine it happens at all speeds and no strange noises
 
because something is wrong with it, you might like to give us a few more clues like

what speed does it do it at?

is it worst when turning?

does it make any noises?

and any other things yer think might be helpful

Ive never had t fight the steerin wheel in your wifes disco,
I ve have had a struggle t keep her fekin hands from wanderin tho !

and yer fuel consumptions crap cos she's fillin my 110 up an your payin fer it !;) :p
