Lovely work there

Cheers :)

It's been raining all morning and I've lost the will to go out now as it's post lunch and I've already cracked the decorating gear out lol

Got a new 5kg spool of wire and a spare too so no worries on the wore front now just need weather to hold out for a couple of days and I can get it licked!

You still chugging away at your D1 an the Defender?

Slowly mate out of gas both physically and metaphorically! I am really struggling with d1 motivation. It’s not going anywhere so I can get on it again when I do. Doing a bit more on fender which will prob spur me on to do d1

This are some nice welds! Rusty remembers me of the donor of RR's orange roof. Guess I would have kept if I could weld well enough and had the proper gear, would have made a nice project!

any nooz?
I now have a welder that might work ;)

well........ if i bought some gas :D

No news, it's either family stuff which has seen me jaunting across the bloody country or pizzing rain :(

I've just browsed the forecast for tomorrow and it's rain again and I dare not look for Sunday for fear of becoming suicidal.

Really ought find a job with paid holidays so I can take time off from work to get it finished

Did you finally manage to round up all the necessary parts for your eurotorch conversion then?

Yes
Got all the parts. Not quite how I wanted to do it, but it seems to work quite well. At least it seems to now I sorted out the weird wiring diagram and voltages, :).
I have now got the gas working via a relay and a connection at the rear of the welder so that it is easier to change from a large bottle of gas to those silly little ones.
Not sure a 4 metre torch was a good idea tho in my confined garage space. Its like fighting with a serpent :D.

Now got an old torch to flog :D

Managed a couple of hours between family stuff and got the passenger door post bottom rebuilt.

Only finished photos but you get the idea of how it went Lolz
