problem with brakes

Hi can you help ? brake pedal goes half way down, then it can go nearly all the way down quite frightning ! master cylinder beeh replaced and brakes been bled, is it the servo ? Thanks Joe.

Joe, this is probably one area you may not get much advise on, consequences!! Was the bleeding done as per correct process, these is not a simple system to bleed.

Have you checked the servo unit? Just press the brake pedal with the engine off until it gets hard, then start her up with you foot on the brake. the pedal should go down a it. Switch the car off again and pump the pedal again, it should firm up. If not it's the servo or the heck valve.

is it fitted with abs if it has than some abs moddles need to be blead on a test book to open the valves in the modulator (local lady specialist is the best place)
