ppi claims

I reclaimed about nine grand in unlawful bank charges a few years back. Not done the PPI yet but should get my finger out and get it sorted.

Ive done it but not thru a company.Staright onto the bank and they couldnt have been more helpfull got just under £1000 back and looking at others.Have a look at moneysupermarket.com Martin Lewis gives loads of advice on it
 
The bank/CC/loan company has to give you a form, when you request it, to claim back PPI's. They must give you back 100% of what you paid as a PPI. Those who get more than 100% are asking for the interest they would have accrued if they had always had the money. Or as compensation.

I've claimed mine back from back and CC company this way. ;)
 
I have had a stack of loans and credit cards over the last 15 years but my memory is about the size of a goldfish and I can not remember who they were with and I have no paperwork for any of them left as they are all paid off now.
Would one of these companies find out this info for me or have I lost out on them all??
 
I'm just really pee'd off with the constant cold calls. I only had my new landline number half a day and they started!!!!

Current count is approx 6 a day. Even though you can press 9 to 'opt out'.Tried going through my provider to block the calls but the bastards keep changing the number, they're mostly 084 numbers.

These people **** me right off i have no debts and never have had any but they ring and text me all the time along with the compo clams for the car cash i never had.

and the loan offers. ffs

I took out a mortgage 16 years ago and had PPI. I then changed to a differenct company 5 years ago. Can I still go back and claim against the first mortgage ?

Since my earlier post, I've had a mooch around money saving expert web site and theres a link there directly to the Halifax's page for reclaiming. So sod it, I've downloaded the form and giving it ago.

That's what I did, been toing and froing for a few months, then Just referred it to financial ombudsman, because lloyds aren't playing ball
