Powerfull Spot Lamps Recomendation.

Hi guys

just come back from perranporth, cornwall. drove through the night going there and a couple of night drives in the week and although the head lights work great at night in dark lanes and A roads i wish i had better lights, i don't want a light bar on the roof as its very noisy and there will be a lot of drag so wondered if anyone could recomend a good pair of powerfull spotlights to fit on my d1 300tdi.

have yu tried extreme brightness headlight bulbs? - effective amd (relatively) cheap.

just get a pair of 55ww driving lamps and fit 80w bulbs.

I use Hella 220 Jumbos with 4x100w bulbs (off road only of course!) Not cheap at £65.00 each but quality lights

I have no problem seeing anything now, on road or off road and would recommend them with 80 W bulbs in

I had a set of Ring 4x4 spotlights years ago on and old S2a they were really bright and looked a lot like a cibie, were about £50 the pair but that was about 10 years ago and havent seen a set in long time but worth finding a set.
