Hi all,

My Freelander HSE V6 2004 has no power steering, the liquid is fine. It's extremely difficult to turn when parking. Any idea or thoughts what might be the problem? I don't hear the power steeering pump making any sounds....when cold, there is power.

Total loss of power steering is usually down to pump failure, presuming the drive belt and oil levels are ok. Most ps pumps have a relief valve which can stick, might be worth checking this if all else fails.
