hi guys - I need some help.
My 54 plate TdV6 has a power/gearbox problem.
Engine starts fine, but going to pull away in Drive and I can press the throttle right down without much happening - car just trickles forward. Eventually the car appears to kick down and off we go, but with very limited power.
Problem continues out on the road, but more sprodacially - we can be going along ok, but then when I need to overtake or a burst of speed, throttle to the floor, nothing happens and then engine sort of kicks down and about 40% power kicks in.
Help - is this a knackered turbo, or is the gearbox letting go, or ....????????
