Hello all!
After a catastrophic Norwegian MOT, it's now all good. Lots of new parts, including all the brake pipes etc.

I ordered a recon VCU from Bell a while back, and had the garage install that one aswell.

What a difference!! The car has done 208 000 KM, and as far as I know, was still on it's original VCU.
The car went from being near impossible to turn, to a much much smoother drive.

Top marks for Ken at Bell aswell, very very professional company and people.

Changed a ABS sensor aswell, so the three amigos have left the building for now.. One problem though, HDC don't seem to work, no green og flashing green light in the dashboard. Peeled the gear gator away and inspected the microswitch, the two wires still seem to be connected. Any other suggestions?

One happy Norwegian!

Thanks for the reply Matt, yes. All the lights is lit, and they all go away after a second or so, (except the ABS who needs the car to be rolling..). :)
It's not a big deal, as long as the three amigos is not showing up, that's the important thing. :) Just wondered if anyone had an idea to what it could be. I guess a broken wire og faulty micro switch or something. I'm not near the car now, so I can't check for myself, but have the HDC it's own fuse?

i no they have switched on the gearbox for 1st and reverse

not sure if they would bring the orange one or not maybe worth trying to see if it works

as if something was faulty then i would expect the Orange light to be on

Cheers mate!:) As I could see no broken wire at the gear lever, it must be somewhere else. Let the hunt begin.. :)
Changed your mind about the front fogs Nodge? ;)

I'm still not sure about the Fogs. I'm thinking of fitting the later bumpers which would render the earlier fogs useless.
