Please Help Starting Problw

Hi All im new,

Oh and no mechanic.

I have an M reg 3.9V8 300 series Disco on Petrol / Lpg.

I jumped in it on Sunday and when i turned the key the ignition lights came on but wouldnt start.

I called AA out who after a while said that it wasnt sending the signal down to the starter and said it could one of the following needs a new relay or a new ignition switch, he then started me using a bit of wire.

I rang my local landrover maindealer who said to start with a new starter relay part num YMB 10027L, which i bought quite reasonable priced, but i cannot see where to fit it too. any help?

Most of the service manuels are on internet free, but i cant think for the life of me the address try a search on this site and google it.
