Play in front hub?

To check play in bearing or swivel, jack up and get a willing helper, or do it yourself if you can, but get under so you can see the rear of the hub and see the swivel ball etc, and rock the road wheel, if the hub and disconly move, then it is wheel bearing, but if the whole housing moves relative to the swivel ball, it is swivel pin etc.
 
to make it easier to find out which has play put jack under swivel housing jack up till wheel off ground this will take all play out of swivel pins if wheel bearing slack you will see it as soon as you rock wheel put jack under swivel arm this will make swivel pins tight temperly

I jacked it up under the axle, wobbled the wheel, the brake disc moved but the swivel didn't, looks like I've got a loose wheel bearing then.. That's a relief.
