Well as a lot of you will know from my previous posts i fixed my Rangie and now decided to sell for a new motorbike. The thing is i didn't think i would get more than £2000 to be honest but its got that high with a week left!

I'm going to look at some bikes tomorrow but i wish i could know how much the car will sell for but i really don't know even to the nearest £1000 pounds! I genuinely thought i'd get about £1800.

What does everyone think i'll get as i can then take an average and i must be somewhere close!

Heres the link

1999 Range Rover 4.0 V8 SE Cheap tax LPG CONVERTED on eBay, also, Land Rover Range Rover, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 31-Oct-08 20:00:00 GMT)

Looks nice, good colour, loads of good history, I reckon that the hammer will drop at £3200 (I personally think it's worth more), but of course it's eBay, so the hammer price guarantees absolutely nothing .....

Good luck !

Thanks mate....

I know what your saying about ebay but i just don't think they are selling on autotrader, the thing is if i advertise it on autotrader or local paper then as soon as people see 149,000 miles they run away before reading about the work done on it. At least with ebay i could write down everything.

i bought mine with 167k, it means bugger all to a v8 with auto box as its not been thrashed. the main thing is the history and mine has dealer stamps to 120k and the book was full so it didn't get the stamps but still got the services!!!

if the engine has been cared for then the rest is a piece of **** to fix really!!

The lengths some people will go to to avoid having to give away a packet of virtual Jammie Dodgers ..... so how much were you offered to make you cancel out of eBay ?

Well sorry for not replying sooner but its been a bloody busy day. I took the car off ebay then a guy locally saw it advertised and offered me £3200 cash........i bit his hand off.

bwarb theres a big pack of virtual jammie dodgers on their way to you lol

Having sold cars (from a main dealer) some years ago if he offered £3200 ,if you had not been so keen to eat his hand i think someone that offers £3200 will go up a few hunderd.. so may be irishrover we were not that far off.... or may be we were.

Great price considering the "damage" that was inflicted with the daughters bike!!!!!!!!!!! An honest Ebayer is hard to find!!!!!.
