I don't know whether this has been covered anywhere else; I'm getting lazy in my old age so don't go yelling "search" at me. Even if it has, it might not be a bad idea to remind you all.
Splicing into various circuits often requires the use of various types of crimp connectors, soldering or even worse the dreaded "Scotchblock".
Picking up a circuit at one or other of the fuseboards can also mean trying to open up harnesses and identifying the wires by colour.
I recently found these little devices on ebay which allow for easy, quick and safe splicing into power circuits. The only downside I've found with them is that while they are fitted they do cover and restrict access to the fuse next to them.
I wonder if anybody else has used them.
