Pickup 110 or 109

Hi,
unfortunately I can't open a thread by sales and wanted.I'm looking for a 110 or 109 pickup but now the difficult part as project for some reason my budget is very tight at the moment but as mechanic I can do the work self I know it isn't easy but may someone can give me a tip

If you're going to spend a lot of time in it, go for the 110, coil springs give a lot more comfort. In the low budget range, be prepared for a lot of rust in anything made of steel, botched wiring and the like. A bad chassis can be terminal, even if you can weld. Don't rely on a MoT as a statement of roadworthiness! On the plus side, they are easy to work on. I'd be more concerned about how the engine and gearbox perform on a test drive.

Hi many thanks for the info I know all this things it can get a hugh job especially when everything is gone chassis and drive train is worn as well but at the moment I cannot effort several k and I need one for the work.
alternative may Japanese but I don't want one

Think there is a section in Anything Goes for sales/wants. And someone may pick up on this. Also, of course, lz is full off landrover enthusiasts, many of whom may be savvy enough not to have to sell their motors cheap!
Have you tried usual options ie local paper, free ads, auto trader, local sale/exchange websites?

Don't limit yourself looking for a pick up, a hard top is easy converted, I have just done it to my 110. Truck cab parts are fairly cheap, or if you are lucky, you might find a pick up owner who wants a hardtop and will swap parts with you!

goodness many thanks for the messages I just start to look for a 110 Hdtop as well and arrange a view
for the weekend, could someone give me a tip where I could get the parts
to convert to a pickup may craddock or paddock spares ?

EBay, Gumtree or preloved. Buying stuff like that brand new from a parts company especially Craddocks would cost you a mayhoosive pile of wonga
