Dear All,

I have a 1999 TD5 which came without any owner handbooks. I now have a copy of the owners handbook but am looking for the booklet for the radio. Any suggestions?

Best,

Pat

Dear Chaps,

Thanks for the responses. Yes that is the model I have. I can use the radio (by experment) but would just be interested to know what MSS; MET; SCAN (tuning stations I expect) RND etc mean and how they are used. I don't expect I will ever use the tape player as I have the 6 stack CD and I don't remember the last time I saw any of my cassette tapes. The Pioneer set looks great and I would certainly need a booklet to run that.

Best,

Pat

Ok,
MSS music search system seek out the pauses between tracks of a tape recording to search the begining of a track, press the MSS plus forward or reverse direction to start search, press MSS button to leave MSS mode.

MET metal/chromium tape select.

SCAN press and hold and a two tone bleep will sound and search 10 seconds of each track on a selected CD, stop scan mode by pressing any selection button.

RND Random play button press and hold and a two tone bleep will sound and each track on a selected disc and tracks following discs will be played in a random order, use track buttons to move on or back to a selected track, to cancel press and hold and a two tone bleep will sound.

Thats about it I hope it helps.

Dear Discool,

Thanks for your reply. Now I can go and push buttons with renewed confidence.

May your diff never lock (old english blessing),

Best,

Pat
