Probably used on many models but I am after a replacement for the original Clarion PU-9044-A radio/cassette player that is in my 1986 RRC.

Odd thing is, I cannot find an aerial anywhere on the car - surely it would have had one when the radio was fitted??

Do you have the rangerover part number of it.
I have one in the garage that has had very little use but the connector block has been chopped off.
I bought it years ago when i worked at a landrover dealers and put it in my rover at the time thats why the block was chopped off.
Im sure its a clarion unit but not sure what year its for but pretty sure its pre P38.

Hi are you still after a clarion stereo model PU-9044A-A /landrover part no PRC 4500.if so i have got a brand new one, (NOS) in its origanal box with instruction manual , all the dash cage/front bevel, fittings and wiring ,the box has marshalls of cambridge sticker on it.
If you are interested in it let me know ,if not i will list it on parts for sale

Many thanks, opelsr. I picked it up this evening.

I am going to leave it for now since I haven't got the spare £70 but thank you for going to all that trouble.:clap2:

I am amazed that you have everything in original packaging too.

I will just have to wait a bit longer before being able to listen to either a tape or FM. No bad thing listening to the V8 instead, though!

no problem .if i were you i dont think i would bother putting a stereo back in , i have been in my freinds 5,0ltr millner wild cat 400bhp (ajd landrovers)once and loved the sound .when i win the lottery i will get one .
regards
martin
