how can you get into car when key dosen't open door manually or of the fob,cheers pat.

Why doesn't the key work (in all locks???)? Why don't you have the fob? Seems dodgy to me...

there is only driver's door that work's with the key, and the fob wont work because the battery has been disconected,

Hi i got into mine by using my thin fishing rod stand , so you need something about 2.5 ft long thin but not bendy etc . Pop off the top door to window trim and you can see down to the door lock mechanism i litterally just manouvered the mechanism pushing and pulling at the levers attached to the lock and finally hit the right one that released the door for me , took a bit of prodding but got in took about ten min .

Consider yourself lucky chap. On the RRS and Disco 3 there is no external lock you can put a key in visible at all. However on the passenger door under the small fixed part of the handle and totally out of sight to the average owner there is a very small slot just big enough so you can push a key blade in. This prises back a barb that releases the plastic cover, under which there is indeed a key slot to manually open the passenger door.

If you don't know this, a Brick can indeed seem very attractive

if you have a pin lock that stands above the door card you can use packing tape down the side of the door to pull it up
make a loop and hook it round the pin and tighten it up n pull it upwards

had to unlock mine before as door blew shut with the keys on the seat what i used was a metal coat hanger straightend out with the hook still on the end and went down between door and b post and lifted the button up job done unless the cars been superlocked then you are stuck

Try back feeding power to the system by a jump lead onto the live feed at the back of the starter motor. This lead is wired direct to the live terminal so should work once you get a good earth with the other jump lead.
