Try back feeding power to the system by a jump lead onto the live feed at the back of the starter motor. This lead is wired direct to the live terminal so should work once you get a good earth with the other jump lead.

I know what you're saying but as it is hard-wired to the terminal, electrically it really shouldn't be any different than reconnecting the battery. Your alarm is either armed at this stage or not, jumping it to the starter should not make any difference.

Mind you I'm open to correction :p
 
well i got the bonnet opened,connected battery back up thought, yes,will be able to use fob,not a f-ckin chance that would be to easy,battery must be dead,but didn't think you would need that much power to open door with fob,i will try colin's advice tommorrow on the passenger's door
 
Glad to hear you`re getting there, but how did you open the bonnet from the outside?? Trust it didn`t involve tin opener or specially trained ex-victorian chimney-sweep boys.
