PAS Belt Indentification

Good afternoon and Happy 2015. Can anyone out there provide the correct part number for the PAS belt on a V8 EFi 1986 auto Classic. I have fitted the widely stated ERC675 but is is to loooong. Found 614106 in a parts guide but suppliers cross reference it back to ERC675. My RRC has A/C and a Lucas A133 Alternator. Fed up with the belt squeal. Many thanks.

Think its a 13 x 940mm v belt

Is the one that's too long about 990mm?

Can you find more adjustment or swap alternator belt to save changing?

I have fitted the ERC675 which according to the various sites is the correct one, but it is 937mm X 12.7.

ERC675 is the correct number according to my RR parts catalogue and 614106 is listed as an alternative.

Just go to any motor factors and order the length you need x 13mm. They will list one on their computer by length instead of part no. so they should be able to advise.

Often it is a stretched alternator belt being half the problem, so replacing it will allow you more adjustment on the pas belt

Problem maybe worn pulleys that cause the belt to sit down to far into the V.
