LOL, does this picture help?

Does anyone have an idea of what colour this is? (1999 Defender '90).

I originally thought it was Bonatti Grey (Land Rover colour code LRC.659) - the same as the Tomb Raider (which is also what the local mechanic thought).

I've then seen some photos of trucks in Niagara Grey - which is causing me to doubt whether it's Bonatti.

Any value in creating a couple of stickys to help answer recurring questions?

1) Part Numbers

I have found Retroanaconda to be really useful in finding the parts I need, allowing me to search Google by part number rather than name.

Links are:

Index of /landrover/parts_books/90

110s

2) Paint Colours

Stephen Hull's site has helped many, with colour codes, years and colour charts:

Sure loads will still ask rather than Google for themselves, but you never know...
My son and I are currently reassembling a 1983 Land rover 110 County and are just after part number manuals, can someone tell me if the Retroanaconda parts books that are for 1987 and onwards are still applicable for the earlier 1983 110's or is there another book somewhere that we should be using, thanks

The best place for part numbers and component/assembly diagrams is LR Workshop. It's also highly useful for component pricing reference. https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams

Thanks... appreciate the reply. Even there it seems so many diagrams start at 1987- I'm guessing most part are still common to the 1983 and on. Looking forward to reassembly now that we have chassis back from being blasted and painted, you guys over there are so lucky to have access to so many parts! thanks again
