pannel and body allingnment

Morning all

just wondering if anyone has any tips on lineing up all the body work on my series 3 88 hard top, its all been stripped and put on a discovery chassis.

to be honest im nearly there and the pannel gaps and shut lines look prety good id just like to be sure its right

this is it as it stands i did a bit more to it yesterday evening so its a bit better than this now

how close is top of door to screen frame ?

it was over lapping but ive supported the front of the rear tub now and its made all a bit better, then i took the roof back off and got on with ajusting the angle of the window with the ruler and its good even gap there now, i could see plain as day the angle of the screen was too far back when i paied some attention.

Please realise that you haven't got a series three with a disco chassis, you've got a disco with S3 bodywork and the reg no and paperwork should reflect this. You're might have to tell the DVLA too.

i know ive been through all this on my build thread thats been lost in the sands of time.

its going to come back to me on a q plate as ive not used enough of the disco to call it a disco nor enough series to call it a series and its got to go through an sva test
