P38 Towbar electrics coding?

Just starting to fit my towbar to the beast. I have a plug n play wiring harness. It's only for towing a trailer so normal 7 pin for lights,indicators etc. I was just wondering do I need to do any coding to get the electrics to work? Will the dash need some sort of coding to show it has a trailer plugged in?
