Does anyone have instructions for replacing the Air Suspension Pressure Switch on a 2000 P38

My suspension "stuck up" and the auto electrician hooked the car up to his laptop to reset and it was reported that there was a fault in the pressure switch

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks

Much as I hate to go against an 'auto electrician' I'm at a loss trying to think of one 'pressure switch' that would cause the suspension to lock-out at height and then refuse to answer to the height switch.

There are innumerable threads and posts on here about the suspension and it's quirks and I might suggest that you put the kettle on and have a good nose around. What you will find very quickly is that you can buy a connection lead and a c.d. (very cheaply) and then see what your suspension is doing for yourself, with paying an auto electrician.

Unlikely to be the pressure switch. More likely to be a height sensor giving a dodgy reading, it will eventually go to a hard fault and drop to the bump stops with the dreaded Slow 35mph message on the dash.
As dogsbody say's, download the free software from www.rswsolutions.com buy a cable and check it yourself. Or buy an EAS Kicker from Blackbox Solutions.

The air pressure switch fault can be a bit vague. It may be that the pump is goosed, or you have a leak somewhere. My advise to anyone with EAS problems is to do a valve block and pump re-build before doing anything else.

Had exactly this fault....turned out it was the driver pack at fault but that does'nt show up on the software......was from looking on here that i changed the pack...been fine for a year now.:)
