Hi All,
My P38 has now been working well for some time - without braking down or anything failing! With a feeling of confidence, I have now set about some of the other tasks in a bid to improve anything and everything...
I have now fitted new leather to the rear seats - not an easy job when you don't have the appropriate tools handy! The front ones I have new leather for too, along with new seat heating elements. But I might get a specialist to do it for me next time? I have spent all day today cleaning the Rangie. Everywhere I can see I cleaned, and then polished. I have also fitted a wood / leather steering wheel and have the sat nav system in place, although this is not working yet. I was horrified to discover an after market loom for the sat nav would cost me around £300! So during the recent rainy days (where I couldn't be outside polishing and cleaning) I have researched the loom and made one myself. I am just waiting to get hold of some pins for the plugs now and it should be good to be fitted. I'll let you all know how it goes. I'd be happy to make more if anyone wants one...
So my HSE is now looking much improved, and very clean. But more to do tomorrow. :D
