p38 parts book

hi all, i have just got my first p38 and new to the site.
could anyone tell me if there is somewhere i can download a full parts book for a 1996 p38.
ive seen them for sale at £60 but could do with it a little cheaper.
any help would be greatfully recived

RAVE Manuals are a good place to start....do a search for them on here to find a link....

There are searchable Parts Catalogues that are similar to the ones used in dealers parts departments, and I had one at one time which involved loading up, then putting a ODBC database script on the computer, then open a databse file, then the Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) files etc etc....but God knows what Idid with it and I can't remember what it was called either....sorry.

But there is one available for the princely sum of nothing i fyou are prepared to look for it....

Do a search for EPC or TIS.....might help

Saint is referring to Microcat to which there are plenty of links provided by other members here. Bearmach used to do a "quicklist" of common parts. Might still be on their website or you can get it here. http://www.lr-parts.cz/files/range-rover-p38_parts.pdf

Is it possible to get microcat working properly, ie as it does in the dealers. Talking to my local indy he pays a small fortune for a dongle.

you can, it involves adding a ODBC database host on your computer and istalling a database with all the info on...it is possible as there are work arounds
