Hi
Doe anyone have a copy of the picture that Canyon put on the old Landyzone site which detail the measurements and cut positions to enable replacement of the in tank fuel pump from inside the vehicle? Failing that the measurements themeselves would be helpful.

I pm'ed Canyon a few days ago but he has yet to responded and I would like to do the job this weekend.

Many thanks

If your brake pipes that run behind the tank have not been replaced then drop the tank, it's not a hard job, and will save a panic attack. If they have been replaced then I think wammers posted a template, worth a search

Do it properly and drop the tank. It takes less time and you're not introducing an Achilles heel to the body of the motor.
Use a trolley jack and length of wood to support the tank

Not me, think GEMS posted a youtube link but no measurements on it, but it should not be hard to workout from the video. ;);)

No, the pump drained this months cash. However the sender is stuck at a third full so need to drop it again but not worried about the job as I now know what to do. Also found a sheered bolt and a totally cross threaded fitting on the tank strap so ony have one bolt securing it at the back at the moment.

However needs pads all round and rear discs plus a set of rear tyres, so I think that job will take up November's spends as I need a torque wrench on top of the brake paraphernalia. May go for a pair of part worns to get me by until I can have a good look at the panhard and radius arms to see if they need work.
