P38 Huddersfield to Tadley

Hi,

Can anyone on here help me out and collect a P38 from near Huddersfield, and deliver down to me? My transport plan has been torpedoed.

Obviously there would be an exchange of money for said services if someone can help.

That's a fair run!

I could collect it and bring it so far as part of a relay if you're stuck.

i'm in huddersfield, and ive got a trailer but i think a p38 will be too heavey and its a long long way. if someone offers to do it for £1.25per mile one way snap his hand off.

Depends on your on your perception of distance, I do over 40,000 miles a year and recently went up to Dundee on my bike(493 miles) in rain and snow

Thought I had someone to do it just now, but he's taken another job.

cant see your problem then, jump on t'bike. i googled it at 201 miles, you should be up here by sunday.

Car has no MOT or TAX so not roadworthy, otherwise I'd be driving it back.

Also on my MOTORbike I'd be there in about 2 and half hours

Not got a tow-ball on yer bike?

wots it need for mot and tax. Might be easier getting someone up there to get an MOT for ya?

Ha ha, nope mine isn't a tractor. I have seen some people with a tow bar on their bike though.

It's ok, it turned up yesterday morning. Found a transport company who brought it down with a JCB load they had to take to Southampton.
