p38 dse engine noise

hia happy new year to every one
my dse bmw engine just started makin a raspy rattle ony when cold & above 2000 revs the more u rev the worse it gets it gets ,once its warm it all most cant be heard & runs perfect cant be to serious what its warm it runs perfect any ideas guys

errr where to start? A lot of problems start out like this so book it in now and get it fixed, it'll only save you money in the long run. It might only do it when cold now but it might start doing it when Hot and then get louder. Thats when the fun'll really start. You're probably right and its not much but its worth checking in my book.
