Crack all injectors open get someone to crank engine, close injectors as they get fuel. It may start half way through so beware. Fuel pump only runs with glow plugs or when engine is cranked or with engine running. You will need a decent battery for this.

There won't be until engine is turned and injection pump starts to send it. If you fitted a new in tank pump there maybe air in the line and or injection pump, undo banjo union on pump at end of clear pipe slightly just enough for fuel to flow. Get someone to sit in car and switch ignition on, whilst glow plug light is on pump should run. Keep doing this until no air is left clear pipe tighten banjo. Then crack injector pipes open slightly. Get someone to crank engine as fuel gets to injectors shut pipes off it should start partway through that.
