I have had a (very) intermittent misfire for some time. It's a long story but no-one has been able to cure. But it seems to be intermittent fuel starvation and just wondering if this could because I replaced all the filters at last service with a set from Brits parts. I have seen some negative feedback, & wondering if the fuel filter could be restricting flow in some way. Anyone who has had some experience with the Britparts gratefully received.. Thinking of replacing with a genuine RR part instead - just in case.
Thanks.

I've not used their filters, but I've had some very poor quality headlights from BritParts, and I seem to remember an air spring that was no good either (although I'm not certain that it was a BritPart) on the other hand, I rebuilt my front diff using their bearings and they were fine, so it's hard to say definitely, but I would be suspicious in a case like yours. If in doubt it would be worth trying a genuine filter just to be sure.

Nisbeam, what's the misfire like?
e.g. just drops one cylinder occasionally, or bigger than that? is there any rhythm to it?
for it to be the filter, I'd expect whole bunch of cylinders would miss at same time, and it'd be more common at higher revs/load.
occasional misfire on a cylinder or two would have to some crud bobbling around the lines from the FIP to the injector wouldn't it?
