Hi, Dave here. Is the offer still on to come to you and get my p38 checked on the nanocom. It's playing up again. Fom cold no problems will run great all day, but as soon as i stop and start again no power. Only can drive at 30, 40 mph and very sluggish. I'm more than willing to compensate you for your trouble. Many thanks Dave.

Does the mil lamp on the dash flash when you have no power?

After talking to OP it sounds to me like the box is going into "safe" mode. sounds like a sensor or switch is malfunctioning

He should be getting "Gearbox fault" on dash if that is the case. With any gearbox limp mode active dash warning should appear. Check EDC for faults.

If anyone can sort it theres a crate of scotch in it for them. I'm at my wits end with it. Mick/ Tarphenry has kindly offered to put nanocom on it, but i would have to risk it going into slow mode. Can the nano work on the rangie while i leave it running? Many thanks and looking for moral support with a lot of guidance. Dave.

The nanocom will work while the engine is running, but if it runs ok from cold ,there is probably no fault to show. however, when its in slow mode ,it will probably show the fault.

That's my dilemma, I come to you all working ok, showing no faults. switch engine off and bingo loads of faults. But will the nanocom rectify it or will I be in limp mode ? That's where the problem could be bad for getting home!!
