Right, changed the radio for one that plays them silvery things and gets Radio 6 music. Laughing!

24 hours later the indicators are all glowing at me!

Come on here find a few, unresolved, threads. Why do people do that, not close the thread with the solution? Perhaps because they never solved it?

Anyway disconnected the battery and reconnected all was well.

Got in this morning and the display tells me all of the windows are not set?

Any clues?

Sorry found a thread with the solution. Re the indicators though, is that because of the radio change or just some random thing. The radio takes all power from the ignition I think so should be off when the car is off?

I'm waiting on a key refurb kit so I'm not locking it at the moment, might that be the problem?

I would suspect so, yes. Indicators are more likely linked to the security system than the radio, even in a Range Rover... On a 1970's Alfasud, that's not necessarily the case:D
On a serious note, get your key fixed and lock the car, you probably won't have the indicator problem again. As for windows not set, this happens when you disconnect the battery. Check the manual for instructions on how to reset them properly.

Wind the windows fully down and up.

Continued problems with indicators glowing is bcem and speak to rick the pick

Having static indicators is a warning something isn't right or the becm isn't happy, so to speak.

Get your fobs issue sorted out & keep an eye on it for a while.
