Hi! Chaps,
The vertical black trims on my windows are "bubbling"!..maybe corrosion?....does anyone know if these trims can be removed and replaced?....sorry if the question sounds daft...but I have no idea, and these "bubbly"trims are annoying me.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers!

Aren't there any motor trimmers, body-shop wizards or ham-fisted thumb-bashers out there who could throw some light on what could be done?....Surely there are other owners with similar problems and owners who have overcome this?....There is no rust visible on these trims...I'm guessing they are alluminium anyway?...but the black paint or anodised finish is "bubbled".
If I'm not making myself clear as to what I mean, these trims are the external part of the door in which the windows slide....got me?

If they are the trims i am thinking of they are metal covered in a thin coat of rubber and they go around the 2 sides and top of the door windows, mine too have bubbled on the 2 back doors. As they are rubber coated the only thing that you can do is replace them, i priced them up from my indi parts supplier about 2 years ago then they were £35.00 + vat each. Be carefull when fitting as they bend easily then they are scrap.
Hope this helps
Mark

Thanks Mark....I think you know what I mean...I'll check it out with the landy dealer. Failing that I'll pop along to j the ranges mate...wish I had mates like that!
