Hi all,
Fairly urgent question for you all
just picked up a D1 300TDi, on the way home (2hour dive) the temp hardly lifted off its stop, saying stone cold the whole way.
The motor smelled a bit hot though, and when I got home, opened the bonnet and sure enough out comes the steam.
the fan seemed to be cranking away the whole time, but theres wet patches from coolant come out, and you could hear the oil boiling!
Do you think its just a thermostat? or signs of something more serious?
just bought the damn thing so hoping its an easy fix!
